Accessibility
Statement of 2026-10-30
We aim for RaceWatcher to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the standard behind the European Accessibility Act and the US ADA guidance.
What we do
- Text and controls have at least 4.5:1 contrast on the dark background.
- Every action works with the keyboard; focus is always visible.
- Forms have labels and explain errors in words, next to the field.
- Incident lists use native disclosure elements that screen readers announce as expandable.
- Motion is minimal and switched off when your system asks for reduced motion.
Known gaps
- Incident video clips have no audio description. The table next to each clip describes what happened in text.
- The incident list needs JavaScript. Without it you can download the report as JSON.
