Terms of service
Version 2026-10-30
Upload races you have the right to share, use the reports for running your league, don't abuse the service.
RaceWatcher lists facts from the game's files. It never decides who was at fault; your stewards do.
1. Who we are
RaceWatcher is run by Balint Kiss, 6035 Balloszog ("we"). Contact: support@racewatcher.app.
2. Your account
You must be 16 or older. Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account. One person per account; a league can have several.
3. What you upload
- Only upload result files and replays from races you took part in, organised, or have the league's permission to review.
- These files name other drivers. You may upload them for stewarding, reviewing and running your league, and you'll tell your league members that their race data is reviewed with RaceWatcher.
- You keep all rights to your files. You give us the permission we need to store them, process them into reports and clips, and show them to you. This ends when you delete them.
- Don't upload anything illegal, malicious, or that isn't a race file.
4. The reports
Reports are built automatically from what the game writes. The game doesn't record who caused a contact, and positions are measured at timing points, so the report can be incomplete or wrong. Use it as a guide for where to look, not as a verdict. Don't present a RaceWatcher report as proof of fault without reviewing the replay.
5. Fair use
No scraping, no automated mass uploads outside the documented interface, no attempts to break into other accounts or overload the service. We may limit or suspend accounts that do this, and we'll tell you why.
6. Race Control (paid plan)
- Price and renewal. Race Control is a monthly subscription. The price, including VAT or sales tax where it applies, is shown before you pay. It renews automatically each month until you cancel.
- Cancelling. Cancel any time on your account page. It stops renewing and keeps working until the end of the month you've paid for. No partial refunds for the remaining days, except as described below.
- 14-day right of withdrawal (EU and UK consumers). You can withdraw from the contract within 14 days of subscribing without giving a reason, by emailing us or cancelling on your account page within that time. When you subscribe, you ask us to start right away; if you withdraw, we refund what you paid minus the part for the days you already used.
- Price changes. We'll email you at least 30 days before a price change. You can cancel before it applies.
- Payment is handled by our payment provider; their terms apply to the payment itself.
7. Availability and changes
We try to keep RaceWatcher running and your data safe, but can't promise it's never down. We may change or end features; if we end the service, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice to download your data and refund any prepaid time.
8. Liability
We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body or health, and as required by product liability or other mandatory law. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential obligations, limited to the damage typical and foreseeable for this kind of contract. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, the free plan is provided as is. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.
9. Copyright complaints
If you believe something on RaceWatcher infringes your copyright, use the report form or write to our designated agent listed in the legal notice. We act on valid notices and may close accounts of repeat infringers.
10. Ending the contract
You can delete your account any time on the account page. We may close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, after a warning where reasonable.
11. Changes to these terms
We'll email you at least 30 days before material changes. If you keep using RaceWatcher after they take effect, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can delete your account.
12. Law
The law of Hungary applies, without depriving consumers of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where they live. Consumers can bring claims in the courts where they live.
